We've stayed here several times ---beautiful antique-filled rooms, wonderful, knowledgeable hosts and breakfasts as artistic as they are delicious!

My husband and I stayed for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed the inn. Marvelous breakfast, comfy beds with fine linens, fun Happy Hour, and super hosts. Highly recommend for singles, couples or families. It was a joy to stay there. Can't wait to go back! P&L, Vermont

I stayed at the Aerie Bed and Breakfast during a recent work trip. My room was the Duck Inn Room and it was marvelous. I slept in an extremely comfortable bed, which was decorated with a canopy (I always wanted to have a canopy over my bed when I was little...), my cozy bathroom was clean, cute, and outfitted with a bathtub, and the overall decor of the room was beautiful. Breakfast each morning, served by Marty and Mike, was spectacular. Each day, I had the choice of three entrees and all were abundant and delicious. (As was the breakfast appetizers each morning!)On my next visit to New Bern, I will stay at the Aerie. It was wonderful.

We had the Romantic package booked over the Christmas weekend at the Aerie.

WOW!!!! we walked into the front parlour and the very sumptuous decor, furniture and Christmas decorations were a sight to behold.

The staff and thanks to "Liz" left no detail out when it came to taking care of us.

Our room, The "Magnolia Suite" was absolutely fantastic. The centerpiece, a huge 4 poster bed with a mattress you almost needed a ladder to climb up onto, was so comfortable you are guaranteed a good nights sleep.

The suite also boasts a large jetted tub and a unique rain shower in the ceiling which was so appealing we are going to purchase one for our own house.

The only thing I can advise you about the Breakfast is to plan for a nap afterwards in the big 4 poster bed. This is because the breakfast is stupendous with outstanding choices.
The staff will make sure that the food is to your taste and I promise you it will be.

Everything you may want to see in New Bern is within walking distance of the Aerie.
