Great place to stay. Housekeeping was always great. It seemed they were always there when you needed something. The rooms were clean smelled fresh everyday that you were there. there's grills and picnic tables. They were a nice bunch of people and of course Jim and Wanda that manage the property are awesome, No you don't have a private balcony which to us was great because we were there in May June and August for over a week stay each time and we met the most wonderful people out on the very large deck on the back of the motel facing the ocean. We really enjoyed that watching the dolphins in the early morning and the late afternoon. I also enjoyed the pool too. It was never overcrowed at all. its relaxing after a hot day on the beach. There are alot of local restaurants walking distance, a local grocery store that has everything, convienence store ,Tanger Outlet next door and jeanettes pier right down from the motel a block I think. We would take walks about every evening on the pier, so relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone! Again we couldn't ask for more and I forgot to mention they are pet friendly also. I could go on but i think you guys should come see for yourself. See you next time.

fridge barely worked, bathroom door wouldn't close, air was barely tolerable, no place to even hang wet clothing and not worth the higher price we payed to stay oceanfront..would not go back and not recomend to anyone unless you just want ocean front with barely the basics.

This motel for me was perfect. the family liked it, the dog loved it. Great access to the beach. The rooms were just the right size if you were not too large. The pricing was reasonable. and the staff was fantastic. We had a great time and did not break the bank. I watched the rooms being cleaned and these people are about cleaning. The pool was clean . It was the best time we ever had there. and still have money left over.. Did I say we loved it. Thanks...

Another fantastic stay at the Dolphin. We had a room on the courtyard with the ceramic tile floor. These floors remind me of being in the Carribean, very clean and nice and cool on a hot summer day. Our room had a refrigerator to keep the beer cold and the fish bait ready to land that big one from the pier, which we could walk to. Great beach with plenty of room to spread out, thanks to the town of Nags Head nurishment program. We already have reservations to return with 3 other couples for a get away in August. LOVED IT.
