This hotel was extremely clean, friendly and helpful staff, and free coffee in the morning. The price was very affordable and still offered the extras. The waiter that evening was incredibly helpful and attentive. The rooms were modern and the hotel was in the perfect location. This hotel was a great deal and I would definitely return here again.

Landed a super deal on this hotel through Hotwire.com. The hotel is located close to I-40 and a straight shot to Raleigh Durham Airport. Upon checking-in, I asked for a room on a high floor and away from any elevators/ice makers. No problem...5th floor and at the far end of the hallway! The room is modern with a LG flat screen and mini-fridge. The room smelled fresh...very nice touch! It was extremely cold the night I stayed, so the heater would turn-on/cycle frequently, but the sound wasn't too bad. I did not hear any plane noise at all. Larger sized pillows would be a nice touch. Checking-in and out was fast and easy. All staff/personnel were very nice, especially Shannon at the front desk. Ample parking and I know they have an airport shuttle, too. VERY nice hotel.

We checked in at 8 p.m. and the staff were ready and welcoming. The requested crib was already in our room, with sheets wrapped in plastic saying they were sanitized (good peace of mind!). The reception clerk took care of all our details for Park and Ride and treated us very well, and the bartender was also very kind. Breakfast off the menu was pretty good and very reasonably priced, again with friendly service. And the coffee was enjoyable too! Shuttle service was prompt and courteous too. Finally, this is a well-maintained apparently newer property. Holiday Inn, you are wowing us and winning us over!!

Oh, and yes we did hear a couple (less than 5) airplanes fly pretty close over the hotel throughout the night. Actually they were so close, it was a neat sound.

Great place to stay. Several places to eat within walking distance. Prompt van pickup from the airport.
