From the very beginning, my experience with this hotel was excellent. The shuttle arrived at RDU within minutes (thankfully, because it was VERY cold). Not only that, but the driver was very kind and had me in stitches on the way to the hotel! When I checked in, I had a last minute change which was accommodated immediately and without issue. Looking online for a hotel can be scary, but when I got to my room I was impressed at how clean and comfortable my room was. The next morning, I went for breakfast expecting the usual continental bore and was greeted with a hot breakfast (bacon, omelets and pancakes) and drinks of my choice! At this point, I didn't want to leave, but, when I had to, a shuttle was arranged for me again quickly and I had a staff member ask if I wanted any coffee of juice. I felt like a VIP at this place and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Thank you so much for making my stay so enjoyable.

Can't say enough good things. Staff was great and very helpful. Spent the night prior to early flight out of RDU. Flight got delayed and they allowed us a later checkout, no problem. Second time we've stayed here and would definitely stay here again.

Close to the airport. Up to the usual HIx standards. Have stayed here many times. Would recommend to others.

I just wrote a review of our hotel in Southampton, UK on a recent trip and said it was a budget hotel at a 4-star price. Well, Holiday Inn Express is more like a 4-star hotel at a budget price. I have stayed several times at this hotel when flying out of Raleigh to avoid having to leave home so early in the morning for one thing, and to be able to park free while I'm away, with free van service to and from the airport. The hotel is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and a very nice breakfast, with almost anything you could ask for, which is included in the reasonable price. The latest addition is a pancake machine that spits out freshly made, hot pancakes. When we returned from our trip, the van driver even drove us around to our car and loaded our suitcases for us. Now that's service. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone flying out of Raleigh, NC.
