I was very pleased with the manager, Angela. We were worn out from traveling with two moving trucks, a car and dogs. Angela made us feel taken care of and even went the extra mile to direct us to other locations we needed to find. I would give her 100% as a manager and her staff!

My Collegue and I stay for approximatley 2 weeks at this location. a non smoking room. The carpets are totally thread bare with unimaginable stains and burns through out. No housekeeping was provided for the entire stay, we were told later there is an additional charge for simply room cleaning. Our hotel room was vandalized apparently by an insider as we had 2 keys one was left in the room. New shopping items were stolen from the room, along with a piece of family owned Jewlery. As for the kitchent utinsels to prepare meals in the the unit, we hade little to non 1 bent buttter knife, 1 bent spoon, no actualy cooking utinsels to prepare meals, no openers to open the items from the market to prepare meal, when inquiring about the basis amenities need and that are a part of the pricing for these units. A maintenance person stated in front of desk reception, Contractors take them when they leave. Not an acceptable answer and they certainly were not concerned enough to obtain any in order to provide what is their calling card. I haev utilized Extended stay America for 2 of my companies over a period of four years to date. I have never had the experience as our team had with this paticular location prior, how ever It has left a very sour taste and impression. We contact the corporate office wiht regard to restitution of the stolen items from our unit with no resolution to our experience. Therefore our company will no longer utilize Extended Stay America hotels and suites for any future travels.

I am asking priceline to remove them from their list. Front desk lady was terrible. Then after giving me the single bed room when I paid for the 'upgrade' to the double bed, I came back and she was gone for 30 minutes! Then she said I didn't ask for the double. When I got to the room, non smoking room, it stunk terribly of smoke. There were ashes all over the night stand. My partner stepped on a live spider 4 minutes after removing his shoes. The sheets were stained yellow and someone had peed on both rolls of toilet paper. She only had a smoking room left and tried to get me to move into that since my non smoking room smelled to bad. She would NOT refund me for the horrid upgrade. Then nobody was there in the morning for checkout. SAVE YOUR 50 bucks and go somewhere else. Trust me it is worth it.

My stay was a couple years ago, but an MSNBC article prompted me to write a review. I stayed at the Extended Stay America on Airport Blvd in August 2006 during a business trip. Once day 2 of my 10 day stay came around, I noticed what looked like mosquito or spider bites all over my legs - dozens of them on each leg. When I got back to my room and pulled the covers off I found these tiny bugs all over the bed!

Unfortunately, due to the nature of these hotels there was no staff on duty (I had to work late that night). So there I was, sitting on the infested bed with only the fitted sheet left, flicking off every bug that came to the surface and downing whiskey in hopes of getting some sort of sleep. I had to force myself to sleep with the bugs for another night.

The next day I made a phone call while I was at work (there was no staff there when I left for work). The person at the desk spoke to me as if I was making up this grand story. Eventually they called me back and said the room is infested and they have a new room for me. No, they didn't move any of my stuff for me.
This room, the TV didn't work and there were large holes in the ceiling around the sprinkler heads. This hotel is near the airport and is very poor in sound insulation - imagine the movies where a plane flies overhead and it feels like the roof is going to rip off. At any rate, this new room had no bugs, but probably did after my luggage (I'm sure some hitched a ride) was brought in.

After flying back home, I chose to get dropped off at a laundromat so I could wash everything possible and throw away many things that could be replaced.

Was I reimbursed for my trouble, the many bites all over my body or the ruined luggage? No! I didn't even get an apology, they said my company paid a bulk rate for all the rooms and they couldn't do anything for me -- it was all taken care of so matter-of-fact-like. .

I will never again stay at an Extended Stay America, nor will I ever recommend the chain to anyone.
