Stayed there on business a couple days and if all your looking for is a bed then they have some really good ones. Staff is fairly competent but the second shift girl needs to get a personality. TV channels are limited with no channel guide in the room. Internet speed was good (1.5 mbs) but not great. There is nor bar or restaurant and the breakfast they offer for free is one of those things where you get what you pay for ... just as well plan on going somewhere for breakfast.
If all you need is a clean and comfortable place to stay then this place will fill your need .. bring some charmin too !

We stayed at the Quality Inn as a jumping off point for day trips in the mountains and the surrounding area. We choose the the Quality Inn because it was pet friendly and reasonably priced. The staff, from check in, to breakfast, to check out, was always attentive and friendly. The room was clean and fresh, especially given the fact that we stayed in one of the "pet friendly" rooms. They gave us a room around back, instead of around the pool, so that it was easier to bring out the dog. When I originally booked on-line, they only had pet friendly smoking rooms, but a quick telephone call and the front desk was able to change it to non-smoking. The king-size bed was very comfortable, the microwave was new, and the refrigerator was slightly larger than your normal "motel" refrigerator. I would recommend this motel for their overall attention to customer service.

This place does the job if you just want a place to sleep and poor customer service. Our first night we were woken up by the alarm in the next room at 4am. We called the front desk and the man told us that there was nothing he could do, we asked if we were just going to have to continue listening tom it and said yes. It went off 2 hours later. Rooms were good, cleanliness was ok. Linens were great. Our last day our heater wasn't working but we thought it was just taking a while to warm up. We went to dinner with family, etc and came back around 11pm to find our room cold. The heat was on just not working. We tried to look at it and if you banged the thing it would work for a couple minutes them just go bak to blowing cold air. Front desk was helpful this time and brought blankets but proceeded to tell us that if we would have told them sooner they could have fixed it. On the day we left, cheek out was at 11am. At 11:01 someone called us to see why we hadn't checked out.
Would not go back.

We stopped here on the way to NC for the weekend. We decided rather than book the room for 7 we would book another room with a king size bed. They had availability and the staff was wonderful to make this work for us with our AAA discount. We slept well. The beds seem to be newer. The room needed painting, but the bath, even though was old was clean. I would stop here again.
