My family and I stayed here again and had a wonderful time. The room was priced below the other hotels in the area. For the low price we paid and to have a full breakfast with waffles, French toast, and sausage and gravy biscuits was a great bargain. They had decorated for the holidays and it look quite nice. The room was extremely clean and the staff very attentive. I have never seen anything like the last 2 reviewers wrote about or I would not have returned a second time. Stay here. It really is quite nice. My kids agree!

We went to spend the weekend at Morehead City and stayed at this hotel and my fiance got bit all over her body by insects. We left to go to the beach and we left our personal items in the room and when we got back my Ipod was gone, looked all over, reported the incident to management and they said that there was nothing that they could do. If you do stay here, make sure you take all your personal items with you.

OMG! I've never seen a plae at this price with this many roaches. We were transfered to
another room and there were roaches coming out of the tub. Needless to say we left immediately and were suppose to be refunded our money (still waiting for it to post). The front desk clerk was extremely nice (poor lady) not her fault. Buccanneer Should just literally tear the place down and start over. I will never ever ever come back to this town and stay there again. It should be named ROACH motel instead of Buccaneer. SOrry front desk lady, you're too nice to work there!

I checked in and the customer service was very good and the lobby was very nice. I went to my room and found it nice. The bathroom was small but the plumbing was poor, the toilet was backed up and the water remained tinted after I finally got it to work, I could not call the front desk immediately because there was no phone in the room to use. Later, my colleague and I were working on our computers, we never were able to complete our work that night because both of our computers lost wireless connection at the exact same time , the internet cut off exactly at 11 o'clock.. I told all of this to the attendee at the front desk upon check-out and she was very helpful and answered all of my questions and was patient with my concerns and she did extend her apologies and said she would look into these issues. I also mentioned that I was disappointed that the pool was closed, in fact it was empty.
I would not recommend this place to stay, it was not the best . For the price per night, I could have gotten a lot better for my money, it was too high to pay for such low over-all quality.
