I was there in the lobby when the Never stay there again people were checking in. The area had just gone thru a hurricane and the elevator was not working. The man was disgruntled because he had to walk up to the second floor. The clerk had told the people that the state inspectors had not let them open the pool until $60,000 worth of work needed to be done, with new tile, new pipes, new drains, new fencing, and new decks. The couple even wanted a cheaper rate then the $70 they were charged. The rate should have been $112 but was discounted because of the storm they had gone thru. I and my family stayed all weekend and had a great time. Not true about the cleanliness. The rooms have always been clean when we stay and we have stayed many times. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. It makes no sense to trash a place because you did not get your way while there. Not very professional! I think they did a great job recovering from the damage the area took during Hurrican Irene.
