First of all if you have a mold allergy avoid this hotel. I am still having an allergic reaction while trying to work in Charlotte today. The young man who checked me in at the Courtyard was very pleasant. My room was another story...aside from the mold, I did not have a remote control for my TV which I did not realize until I was ready for bed and I that time I did not feel like getting dressed and walking back to the desk so I did not watch TV. I had only one decaf coffee and several packages of condiments (I drink regular coffee) I did not realize this until the morning. I did not have a hairdryer which of course I did not realize until I finished my shower and waited with wet hair until they brought me one that was very loud and barely functional. I expect much more from a Marriott and being a Marriott fan I checked out and I am now staying at the Fairfied in the Matthews area. It is brand new, no mold and everything I expect from a Marriott is here and more.

This hotel is pretty much what you would expect from a Courtyard. It was a touch on the upscale side. The staff was helpful and efficient. The hotel was clean, as was my room. I also had a pleasant view overlooking the pool area. Sometimes, this can be an issue, but in this case, it stayed pretty quiet.

One drawback would be getting in and out of this parking lot. If you are not on the right side of the road (the same side the hotel is on), you are going to have to go a bit out of your way before you can turn around to make your way back. Of course, this isn't the fault of the hotel ownership, but it can be rather inconvenient.

Great hotel...clean and we booked a special online that included free breakfast for adults and my kids ate free. I only wish they had an indoor pool. Very convenient location.

Stayed one night after flying from dublin to charlotte. It is about 15 minute drive from the airport. Very helpful staff it was about 8 pm on a Saturday night we just wanted something quick to eat before sleeping. I offered to buy some yogurts from their breakfast fridge but was given them free of charge. Nice gesture and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and lovely breakfast to.
