My parents and I stayed at this hotel for four nights recently, and were fairly pleased with this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. They had round-the-clock "treats" for everyone. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful.
The only things I can ding them on were that one of the staff was barefooted while serving behind the counter which didn't seem very professional. The bed comforter was all lumpy. I assume that happens if you toss a down comforter into the wash. And, finally, the full breakfast that was promised was a handful of refrigerated, pre-packaged sandwiches and omelets, self-made waffles, and the like. I guess I was expecting a real "full" breakfast with real eggs and biscuits and such. I'm also vegetarian, and there was little to nothing for me to eat. My folks and I ended up going to the Waffle House each morning rather than eating the hotel breakfast. I talked to one of the staff about this, and she mentioned that because the hotel didn't have a restaurant license, they weren't allowed to serve real breakfasts! Seems a shame. Anyway, the food wasn't the hotel's fault... just a bit of an inconvenience for travelers staying there.
Even with the negatives just listed, Hampton Inn did their utmost to make our stay pleasant. I applaud them for that.
