This is a motel with 2 cabins located in Maggie Valley. We stayed in cabin #32 for several nights. Not because we liked the cabin but the location of the cabin was very nice. We were on a stream in a wooded setting and it was cool on a hot summer day. The positives were the front porch of the cabin had 2 rocking chairs and you could hear the stream just a few feet away it was very shaded and cool. The negative, the cabin was very old and smelled musty. The kitchen was tiny, the refrigerator was tiny. The bathroom fixtures had not been updated since the 1930's and the bathroom was very small with one small light on the wall.
The owners were very nice and had told me the cabins was not fancy but I was disappointed when I did see the cabin. The motel has a nice pool and is on a creek with 2 picnic areas on the creek complete with places to BBQ. A good place for families with children.
