We stay at Applecover at least twice a year Derrick and Amy make us feel more at home than some of our family! Always personally greeted when we arrive and best wishes when we leave. If you ride and don't know Western NC Derrick can put you on the best rides there is to offer. Yes some of the rooms are small but always spotless, if you want to sit in a room why not stay home. If your having a group get together I don't know of any other motel owners that will do as much as Derrick and Amy to make it a time to remember!

Room Tip: a choice from small room to apartment, Applecover is not a new fancy motel but clean and affordable

Derrick really knows how to make you feel like your at home while away....The rooms are well kept and clean, as he's got the best housekeepper out there...He takes the time to stop in and ask if all is ok...but i think one of his best attributes, is having a family bon-fire....top notch Derrick.
Recommend this to anyone traveling in the Maggie Valley area!!!!!!

Just returned from a three night stay at The Applecover Inn Motel. The rooms are very clean and the rates are great. Derek was so nice and made us feel very welcome.

“Great Place to stay”

we stayed at the apple cover inn oct 2-7. It was the most enjoyable time in recent memory. Derrick, family + staff made our visit most enjoyable. As we traveled on motorcycles to different locations this was by far the best. Kudos to derrick + staff for a great stay. We will be back. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN MAGGIE VALLEY!

“safe and affordable”

As a female traveling alone, I felt safe at this clean, friendly motel located in pristine Maggie Valley. Easy access to I-40 made my trips into Ashville painless. Managers are hands on and very honest. they know many of the repeat customers and create an atmosphere where it is easy to meet people. Rooms are spotless and decorated country style; like home....Some small, but some sizey. They will meet your needs.
