Find somewhere else to stay. Stay in your car before you stay at this dump.

Stayed here on recommendation from a friend. Should have consulted Trip Advisor first. Hotel is incredibly run down. Wood trim outside of windows rotted and falling off building. Bathroom had broken mirror, broken porcelain in tub. Pillows were either flat or lumpy. Continental breakfast was extraordinarily limited with no attempt made to present food in an attractive, professional manner. As with other reviewers, saw the dog in the lobby and heard dogs in the hallways. Hallways smelled bad and must have been 100F. Kept saying as we drove down the road that every other property in Maggie Valley looked better than this one.

The room was a little old, with wall paper hanging down. The outside bar and pool area was very good. The food in the resturant as well, and they had a good rock'n roll band playing to (on fridays and saturdays I think). Are you looking for great hotel with up to date rooms, I don't think this will be the one for you. You just wanna hang out and meet some locals and maybe a band - this is the place.

We were really disappointed - very old hotel - and old is lovely but this was not taken care of. Enamel is chipped in huge hunks from the shower, one had to flush 3 times before anything went down . . . blankets old and frayed, bare box spring. They room wasn't vacuumed daily or made up daily without a request. There's a biker bar by the pool - weekend noice was incredible until all hours of the night. They really need to renovate this hotel badly. We'd never recommend it to anyone and were really disappointed because it was "Maggie Valley"!
