“Needs some work....”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2007

Stayed previously but this time it seemed that the "quality" in Quality Inn has declined. The sheets were paper thin and had cigarette holes in the sides - big holes not little ones. You could also see that underneath the bed that the stuffing was falling out. The room seemed clean but yet like something was missing. They do have a breakfast and that was okay and the restaurant at night is very good. Front Desk staff was extremely helpful...especially on checkout.

“Value on the road”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2007

I booked this hotel with an entertainment rate of $59 for a suite. With three kids, it is hard finding hotel rooms that will accommodate a family of five. I had checked the Country Inn and Suites at the same exit but felt $130 was not in our budget. We stayed twice at this hotel, once on the way to WDW and then on the way back home. The first room we stayed in was spacious but was dark and looked like an older establishment. It did appear clean and it was nice having the suite with a sitting area(sofa bed) and a seperate room(divider) with two double beds. The down fall was the sofa bed. It was in bad condition. My nine year old told me it hurt his back so we put the three old on it and she was fine. The pool was also nice but does close at 9pm. On our second stay the sofa bed was twice the size and had great support. I guess it is luck of the draw. The employees are vbery friendly and the continental breakfast is what it is advertised as: cereal, donuts, bagels, english muffins, coffee, juice, and fruit. The restaurant at the hotel has good italian food at a reasonable price and we took it to our room to eat. Good value at a good price.

  • Liked — Good Price and the space
  • Disliked — condition of the sofa bed during first trip

“Horrible!!!”

WHERE do I begin? This night was one heck of a nightmare. We stayed here (me, my husband and my two young daughters)because of location and because it's pet friendly. We arrive and were assigned a room. We walked into the room and the stench was overpowering. It was so bad, we switched immediately. The next room wasn't so stinky but saw tons of stains on the carpet and hair in the bathroom. The walls are so thin, we heard every door slam shut throughout the hotel. The people next door also had a dog. They dropped their dog off and LEFT! The dog whimpered the whole night and howled. My dog was frantic and wouldn't sit still. We were so tired, we were all crying! At 9:00 pm, the door opened while we were trying to sleep!! My dog freaked out. A man was standing there with the door opened and my dog went running down the hall barking at everyone and making a lady scream!! Turns out, this was a maintainance man looking to fix some lights?? After my husband got back with my dog, we tried to get some sleep. A half hour later, the PHONE rings!!! It's the front desk calling to say there are complaints about my dog!! I told her what happened and how a man was coming into my room and she told me he didn't know that room was assigned to anyone. Of course, this phone call in our room woke up the dog next door so he starts whimpering again! OH MY, This was really a nightmare! My kids kept saying "let's go home!" We finally left at 5 am. I will NEVER stay at these hotels again! Anyone know of a NICE pet friendly hotel in between FL and CT?
