“Loved the bed but it needed better cleaning”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Driving home to CT from FL we needed a place to rest for a night. We had a very good night sleep on this bed. It was very comfortable from the mattress to the pillows to the sheets BUT the bathroom had public hairs around the toilet, the bathtub was stained and very ugly. The bathrooms definitively needs to be renovated and cleaned better.

“No quality whatsoever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2008

Dirty hotel! Pubic hairs in the bathroom, stained mattresses with uneven broken springs, stained walls and floor, rusty tub. The front desk staff is not remotely friendly. I wore flip flops in my room as I wouldn't walk on the filthy carpet barefoot. The whole room (and my friends' rooms as well) was in a general state of disrepair showing me motel management didn't care a lick for the upkeep of the place or for guest comfort. The towels smelled funny. I would recommend steering clear of this place. There are numerous hotels and motels at the same exit that look much better including a sister property Comfort Inn that looks brand new.

“decent on-site restaurant, little else”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 April 2008

We've stayed at this property several times before on our drives north after coming across a good review of on-site Italian restaurant. Having a decent on-site restaurant (quite good by motel standards), their reasonable room rates, and being pet-friendly allowed us in the past to overlook the motel's shortcomings. The wear and tear, especially in the hallways, has always been noticeable. This last stay though, the smell of vomit in the hallways, especially around the ice machine, was objectionable. Our rooms seemed scruffier: banged up furniture and doors, carpet stains. Still no wi-fi; broadband is available if you have an ethernet cable. The front desk will provide you a loaner.

Also disappointing is the continental breakfast. Indifferent presentation makes the poor quality and selection particularly unappetizing. Stale mini-bagels, donut holes, Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes aren't going to cut it for adults. We instead opted for McDonalds' fresh fruit platters and better coffee.

Despite the decent restaurant and friendly staff, the questionable repair and poor breakfast offerings will make us look for better overnight digs in this price range.

  • Liked — on-site restaurant
  • Disliked — very questionable cleanliness, lousy breakfast

“Needs some work....”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2007

Stayed previously but this time it seemed that the "quality" in Quality Inn has declined. The sheets were paper thin and had cigarette holes in the sides - big holes not little ones. You could also see that underneath the bed that the stuffing was falling out. The room seemed clean but yet like something was missing. They do have a breakfast and that was okay and the restaurant at night is very good. Front Desk staff was extremely helpful...especially on checkout.

“Value on the road”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2007

I booked this hotel with an entertainment rate of $59 for a suite. With three kids, it is hard finding hotel rooms that will accommodate a family of five. I had checked the Country Inn and Suites at the same exit but felt $130 was not in our budget. We stayed twice at this hotel, once on the way to WDW and then on the way back home. The first room we stayed in was spacious but was dark and looked like an older establishment. It did appear clean and it was nice having the suite with a sitting area(sofa bed) and a seperate room(divider) with two double beds. The down fall was the sofa bed. It was in bad condition. My nine year old told me it hurt his back so we put the three old on it and she was fine. The pool was also nice but does close at 9pm. On our second stay the sofa bed was twice the size and had great support. I guess it is luck of the draw. The employees are vbery friendly and the continental breakfast is what it is advertised as: cereal, donuts, bagels, english muffins, coffee, juice, and fruit. The restaurant at the hotel has good italian food at a reasonable price and we took it to our room to eat. Good value at a good price.

  • Liked — Good Price and the space
  • Disliked — condition of the sofa bed during first trip
