What makes this Holiday Inn Express work so well is the combination of comfort, helpful staff, and easy access from I-85. The staff responded well to our needs for two adjoining rooms and staggered arrival times. Furthermore, their recommendations and directions to restaurants and historical sites made our family Christmas gathering most pleasant. There is enough turf for children to play outside safely. The highway sounds are not obtrusive, but requesting a room at the front of the building should resolve the situation for light sleepers. The breakfast (6:30-9:30) included hot and cold items, and the person managing the buffet was helpful. My one recommendation would be to expand the time for breakfast on the weekends. Room rates are appropriate for the level of accommodation and service.

I've stayed at a number of Holiday Inn Express properties recently and they have been consistently solid. This hotel fits the Holiday Inn Express "standard". Price was reasonable, room was clean and tidy, property looked pleasant and well maintained, free internet, free breakfast and a pleasant person to deal with at the front desk. I used the work-out facilities which offered fresh towels, cold water and a TV to watch.

The personnel were extremely gracious. Free coffee is available near the check-in 24 hours a day. The breakfast was good. However, there was no meat available wit the prepared eggs and pancakes. Sweet rolls and muffins were fresh. The only negative is that the jacuzzi is totally open to anyone in the room. That may be intentional. However, if you would rather not see flab, you might get a different room!

This is one of my favorite hotels. I have stayed at my fare share too. The staff at this hotel is the friendliest I have ever seen. I have stayed the better part a year here and I found it to be fantastic. There is breakfast every morning from 6:30 am to 9:30 am serving eggs, bacon, and biscuits with gravy. Other amenities include a pool, a computer room, and a meeting room for companies. The only bad thing I would have to stay is a lady named Janice. Other than her this is a superb place to stay.
