Arrived in this town late and this was the best priced brand name hotel we could find. The front desk area was spotless clean and freindly service at the desk. As for the room , it was another story. They gave us room # 226 on the back side of the building . I don't know if the rooms on the other side are any better or not. It looked like there were a lot of contractor type guest there on the back side as most of the vehicles back there were commercial type such as work trucks and vans.I do drive a commercial cargo van so I guess they just assumed I belonged on the back side of the building. I have found that most hotels I'v stayed in give the worst rooms to contractors and such.
If thats all they can do next time I'll leave....There were people hanging out in the parking lot drinking their beer util late night and they were all talking loud and leaving out before 7am the next morning. I would not want my wife or children to stay there on the back side. The room was in bad need of paint, just looked trashy, but the bedding and linens were clean. There was a free hot breakfast with gravy,eggs,waffles,cereal and pastries.
