I slipped down the slick outside steps while checking out at 8 a.m. in Oct. '05. The front desk staff called the EMS and for the first time in 48 years, I rode in an ambulance, as I had fractured my ankle. The General Manager promised to reimburse me for my medical expenses. However, despite numerous attempts at contact, he has stonewalled me. Do Not stay at this hotel if you have no insurance, or if they put you on the second floor. Check to see if they have installed tread strips on the painted concrete (not there when I slipped and fell). Also, they first said I owed nothing for the night, due to the broken ankle incident, and then the next day they charged my Discover card for the night. Very disreputable people... Shame on you people...
