Really enjoy the clean and comfortable rooms, very kind staff and very helpful, cost effective, and the best hot free breakfast ever. The dining menu is quite tasty and a lobby bar on site is great.

Let me start off by saying there is nothing like being on a beach in the Outer Banks the week between Christmas and New Year's!!!! We're from Ohio, so being at the beach in December was a nice break from the snowy weather we get here! The hotel wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. They were renovating the hotel some while we were there. I totally understand this since this area was hit by a hurricane in late August. It is in desperate need of renovation, which they are doing. So, I give them much credit for that. That is the only reason I'm not giving it a higher rating. The fact that it was being renovated while we were there. Other than that, it was a great place to stay! The staff was stellar! Very friendly, very accomodating, and able to answer anything we threw at them! Being that we visited in the off season, the price too was unbeatable! They are/were also a pet friendly hotel which made it nice that we could take our four legged daughter along with us too.

Again, the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it was undergoing renovations while we were there and it made the hotel a little more dusty than it would normally have been I'm sure. I can't wait to see how it all looks when they are done!

We stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed the location. It is right on the ocean with a nice pool and a hot tub. Hot tub was a bit scary because it was dark and didn't appear too clean the first day. There is a nice kiddy pool also. Staff was very friendly. The building was worn and weathered from the salt air.

We found everyone at this property to be accommodating and friendly. The disadvantage of not having an elevator in the lobby was rectified by someone at the property always willing to make sure you gor your belongings to your room. We always travel with a 4 1/2 lb Papillon and it's necessary that we find a pet friendly hotel. The continental breakfast was excellent. The room, for an oceran front property, showed some wear but it was clean. The bathroom was very clean and we will return in the future. Thanks for a great stay.
