When I arrived at the hotel, I misheard the price and thought I was getting a very cheap room for the night. That suited me quite well--I'm not a wealthy traveler, and I'm prepared to put up with some discomfort for a lower price. So I didn't really think much of it when I walked into a dirty grey room with poor lighting and a bathroom fan that moved no air but did make a noise like a jet engine exhaust. I was a little annoyed at the lack of shampoo and the faded, stained hand-towels, and the slight lining of mold on the shower curtain. But, it was all right until I was lying in bed at night and saw two cockroaches going across the sheet. When I woke up the next morning, I had bedbug bites. And then I saw my bill: $68! I had passed reliable clean places earlier in the day where I could have stayed for half the price! And without being attacked by nasty disease-transmitting insects! Bleh. I don't know anyone I dislike enough to recommend them this place.

irst the front desk lady there were 2 of them ruth and tressa.they were the nicest and friendly people that you would want to meet.they were friendly and pleasant.but then it comes going to your room the houskeeping girl well guess what?she doesnt speak any english...thats alot of help.the bathtub is dirty,toilet too.and there is a used rubber behind the head board.ice machine doesnt work.frontdesk ladies has to go across the street and get ice for the customers.then the night clerk tells me that you get one bucketper room and is very rude...theres bags of garbage on every corner,dumpster is full.theres no continental breakfast only dry cereal no milk,butter no bread. i paid 68.24 for this place and when i asked to speak to mangement .i was told to leave my number which i did and im still waiting to hear from them...oh the bedspread had burn holes in it and the sheets had patches and also were dingy wheres the bleach.....the wash clothes were worn out and no handtowels...

As we pulled up to the motel I thought, "what a dump!". There's a vacant lot next door and the grounds and outside of the building doesn't look well kept at all. A very strong scent of cleaning materials greeted us as we entered the room but they let us have it several hours early which contributes to the Service score.

The carpet had many cigarette burns in it even though this was a designated non-smoking room, the carpet looked as if it had seen better days but did not stink when I laid upon it to perform my back exercises, it did however feel damp at times.

The room looked clean and was cleaned well each day we were there and our request for extra towels was honored each day.

They have the Speed channel!!

We stopped up the toilet late one evening and management gave us a plunger for the overnight, we learned that each use of the commode required two flushes. My wife found that the hair dryer didn't work after she had taken a shower and it was replaced the very next day. Management put up shear draperies while we were there.

The occupancy rate was fairly low at this facility even though it is relatively close to Lowes Motor speedway.

Their ice machine was broken. The coffee maker and refrigerator in the room both worked well. We had a microwave but didn't use it.

While sleeping we kept the a/c / heater on fan only because of the loud noise the compressor made when the unit was running.

The motel is located directly adjacent to an exit off of I-85 and the traffic noise was too much for my wife to sleep without using earplugs. The motel was located across the street from a Pilot Travel Center and a Waffle House is located just across the vacant lot.

Not an extraordinarily bad place by any measure but not a great one either.

I don't know where to begin....room smelled, holes in walls, bathroom fixtures held up by bungee cords, only changed bedding once in week and it was dirty when we got there....never gave us shampoo until the last night...there wasn't an ice machine in the whole place that worked, all broken.....jacked the rates up on us (they are lower now, just checked) and then wouldn't give us our 15% for the Value Club. No internet, outdoor pool looked like it hadn't been used/cleaned in years, couldn't get in lobby most of the time 'cause they were using it as a living room for a bunch of young kids or something.....NEVER stay here!!!!!!!!!!!
