I stayed one night while on business at Camp Lejeune. There are some renovations going on, but they did not affect my stay. Check-in staff were very helpful and friendly, providing a map of the area since it was my first time staying in Jacksonville. There is a free breakfast. The hotel appears to be an older property, but it is clean. This is the type of property I would recommend for a short stay since it is basic. Traffic was extremely heavy, so give yourself plenty of time to get around. I would recommend allowing at least 20 minutes to get to the base. The hotel is right by Wal-Mart.

Very typical HI Express. Average accomodations. Nice and friendly staff. Decent rooms. Breakfast is so-so. Pretty basic stay but not much better in Jacksonville. Disappointed that there are no Hilton properties here - Hampton Inns are a definite step up. Long drive in heavy traffic to Camp Lejeune. Good restaurants within a short drive.

We stayed for two nights. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is older, but there is upkeep going on. When we first arrived we smelled fresh paint in the hallway. The swimming pool has been completely removed in preparation for a new one. The exterior of the hotel was getting some updates and repairs. I would recommend this HI Express to anyone staying in the Jacksonville, NC area.

We arrived at 3am, greeted by the friendliest lady at front desk. Attended our son's graduation-MCT at Camp Geiger, very convenient. Room very clean, breakfast good, comfy beds. The front desk gave us a nice map & great directions. Nice place to stay.
