My wife and I spent the night at the Hampton Inn last night -- and I have to say that we were very impressed. The hotel public areas were clean and well appointed. Our room was very nice -- the bed was super comfy -- lots of soft, fluffy towels -- the internet was fast and free -- LOVE the lap desk -- breakfast was great -- and EVERY staff member we met was very friendly and helpful. We stay in a lot of hotels all over the world and RARELY have we had an experience like the one we had at this Hampton Inn.

Obviously, we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Henderson area.

We stayed for the weekend for our family reunion. Our family did receive wonderful service. I stayed in one of the suites, room 402.

The pros:
• The lobby, breakfast area, business center and pool were lovely areas.
• The suite was spacious with a living area and separate bedroom
• Included a microwave and fridge.
• The separate bedroom are was wonderfully light with nice bedding
• The suite had a Jacuzzi tub and nice amenities.

The Cons:
• The living area and bath area had very poor lighting.
• The room had a wet bar area which also had no lighting.
• The dull light above the bathroom sink had a transparent cover over it, so you could see nasty stuff attached to the walls.
• I could not get true light to do my hair and makeup.
• Once you closed the bathroom door, it was very dim in the bathroom
• The shower rod was broken, so the shower curtain would not say in place.
• The sleep sofa was old and not very comfortable.
• It was very dirty and dusty behind the furniture
• The chair and ottoman in the living room had so many stains on it that I had to put a towel in the chair before sitting.
• We ended up moving the floor lamp around the suite when we needed extra light.

Overall, we had a nice stay at the Hampton Inn, but I have decided to try the Holiday Inn Express the next time.

Very nice, very clean hotel. We stayed here for the Kerr Lake Triathlon and we were very pleased. The YMCA is directly across the street for packet pick-up which is super convenient. Kerr Lake is only 20 minutes away. Great restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff!

My stay here for a Friday-Sunday was very pleasant. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average. The room was quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Maybe the carpets are a little aged, but I did not smell any unusual odors as previously noted. And I have a very keen sense of smell. I would stay in this property again.
