I checked in and was told after receiving my room key, told Internet was down till Tuesday. I was told I could walk over to their sister hotel and use theirs.Not right, if Sister Hotel, why not transfer my room over there?? Went to my room, only to get room key to throw up a yellow light and I could not get in room.Went back to desk, he rekeyed the card, I went back to room with new card, still got a yellow light. Went back down to desk again, told clerk still throwing yellow light, so he gave me another room. Come to find out, room 203 was given to another patron, they freaked out thinking someone was trying to break in their room. Desk clerk didn't seem to care. I'll stay at Sister Hotel which is a Holiday Inn Express next time in area working again.#rd shift desk clerk was nice and started Breakfast at 415am, so was nice to get fresh coffee, yogurt and a bagel before leaving hotel @ 5am for work.
Room Tip: If parked in Handicapped space on right of Hotel, rooms end in 11,09,07...perfect view of cars

I am terribly sorry you had such a bad experience here, and hope you will accept my sincere apologies. There is no excuse for the service as you describe it, and I understand your reluctance to return here. I will discuss your review with the team to emphasize the need for everyone to make sure that every guest is satisfied with every encounter. I hope you will be happy at the Holiday Inn Express the next time you are in Goldsboro.
