Your standard box hotel - fine while traveling. Nice Fridge and microwave in room. They have an outdoor pool, but no fitness room. The room looked like it had recently had a quick re-do. (I say quick because we were laughing that you could see the old wallpaper border under the new wallpaper and where they painted a square around the hook, instead of taping or removing the hook to paint the bathroom door...) There were some mild plumbing leaks around the back of the sink, but not enough to cause problems. Generally, it was clean, and comfortable, so no complaints. Breakfast was standard starchy issue, and if you went toward the end, things weren't refreshed. If that's an issue, there are lots of restaurants in the area. My only pet-peeve is that the keys went dead before check out. That drives me a bit batty, because it usually happens while you’re trying to load up luggage. Ah well, it wasn’t that big of a deal, so over all, it’s a good, clean place to stay.

Clean, great complimentary breakfast. Room decor was for business. Next to Cracker Barrel, Waffle House.

Outdated rooms. Uncomfortable beds/bedding. Right near the highway, noisy. Moldy, musty, smelly rooms. Don't try to save your money, stay at the nearby hotels and pay a little bit more. You'll be able to sleep at night.

Wow! What a pleasant experience! This place was great! Excellent service, cleanliness, (they are always cleaning here) and professionalism. I was moving from PA to NC and was in need of somewhere to stay for about a week.
Knowing the area a little from before I knew that the location of the hotel was safer, cleaner, etc…So when I came upon this Best Western my expectations were high but I am glad to say that they even surpassed those.
I was moving from PA to NC and after a grueling 9 ½ hours my fiancé and I arrived early and was immediately greeted with the southern hospitality that I had so dearly missed. We were placed in our room early and suffice to say that it was a comfortable size bedroom but more like a suite. The staff was immediately accommodating and helpful even though it was obvious that we interrupted their daily cleaning ritual (as I said before they are always cleaning)
The location is convenient to shopping malls, movies, entertainment, eateries galore, all within a 2 mile radius of the hotel) hospitals and highways (charlotte is only 30 mins. away). But it was the service and friendliness of the staff that made our trip and transition to NC so pleasant. We even extended our stay another week because of the quality of the service. It was more of a home away from home in the interim of a very stressful time and it is because of the many wonderful and helpful people that I have met at this hotel …Mr. Andy, John, Alberta, Candela, Charlene, Fatima, and all the countless others that I have not named personally…Thank You for a wonderful stay at your hotel
. I would and will recommend this hotel to anyone that I know or meet. My hotel stay was like a vacation…in Gastonia…Imagine that!
