Pleasant staff. Big, comfortable double bedded room. Quiet and clean. Everything worked, but the internet was slow. Great breakfast selections. They have a manager's reception M, Tu, Wed evenings which was a nice surprise.

We wanted a hotel that was close to Douglas Airport in Charlotte but we did not want to stay in Charlotte. This was a perfect choice. We researched online and found this hotel had some of the best reviews for the area. One site rated it #2 in the top 10 for the area. This hotel was less than 15 minutes from the airport. We wish we had not had to leave so early in the morning. We were a bit disappointed that breakfast did not start till 7 am on the weekends. We had to leave earlier than that to catch our flight. Our room was very clean and very quiet. We had a room overlooking the back parking lot so we had no road noise. Front desk was helpful. We had to print our airline boarding passes out and there is a business office set up with a computer and printer near the lobby so we were able to use that to print the passes for free and that made our airport experience go quickly. We will keep this hotel on our list as one of the best we have stayed in in this area. We loved the fact that there was a sofa and mini kitchen and table and chairs in the room. It made it seem more like a small apartment. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights!

We stop in Gastonia several times each year on our way to Atlanta and have tried several of the motels. I have to say that the Comfort Suites will become our regular stop from now on. We found the room to be very comfortable, the price to be very reasonable, and the common area to be roomy and cheerful. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was adequate. Clerks at the desk were polite and helpful. We had dinner at an Olive Garden 3 minutes away.

I stayed at this hotel three times in the past two years and every time I have had a very nice room that is clean and nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable and have pillowtop bedding on them.

The front desk staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great.
