We had one night here after flying into Charlotte from Europe. What a lovely place to stay. The room was large & very well appointed with a comfortable bed & a settee in a spacious seating area. The hotel seemed to be in the country so was quiet yet you could walk to an excellent Texas Roadhouse for a meal. This Roadhouse was extremely busy but the food & service were really excellent--it had a great atmosphere. Breakfast in the hotel was good & was taken in a pleasant large area. I would recommend this hotel.

bathtub had black mold growing in most of the caulking around tub. dirt adhered to a previous sticky substance in bottom of tub. Took pictures. Can't believe they would rent a room in that condition. That tub had been in that condition for a while. Went thru AAA to get reserve room but their contact procedure is too difficult, so gave up trying to let them know. I did write to Choice Hotels though.

Hurricane Irene chased us home. We had driven all night arriving there 3.00 in the morning.
Due to the circumstances they allowed a late check out and offered us a late breakfast. The service made us comfortable. I would drive extra miles to stay again.

We stayed here for my nieces wedding the breakfast was great . the staff was very friendly. The room almost everyday was clean . They did a terrific job on bathtub when I asked them to clean it for us when we arrived . Overall we would stay again .
