I stayed at the Sleep Inn this past weekend to go to the Jason Aldean concert at Walnut Creek, things got a little crazy when there was a wreck on I-40 but the staff got things pulled together and got us to the concert by taking a different route. Most of the problems that occurred were caused by the patrol officers that working the concert but once again the staff held things together and got things done and got us back to the hotel, like I stated earlier things got a little crazy with all of the traffic but other than that I really enjoyed my stay and I will return the end of the month to go to the Brad Pasley concert. The hotel is very nice and the staff make you feel like you are at home a very nice group of people, the general manager is right in there with the rest of the staff trying to be sure that everything is running smoothly. I would commend the Sleep Inn for that reason alone. The Staff make you feel like they really care about their guest a added plus.

NO LONGER HAVE VIP FOR WALNUT CREEK. This hotel had been used by others because they offered a VIP package for Walnut Creek. When we made our reservations it was made clear to the staff we were staying there for that reason. We were not told at the time reservations were made nor at check in that they no longer offered this. They also failed to tell us at check in that we were paying $10.00 each for a fan ride to Walnut Creek. Not until we were in the fan and pulling into the concert did we find out that we did not have VIP passes. Will not stay there again even if its not for a concert.

A solid room for $65 a night. Nothing fancy but it was clean and what you should expect from a 1.5 star hotel. The walk-in shower was spacious and had great water pressure.

Service only gets a 3 from me because check out took over 20 minutes. I had to find the front desk clerk who was in the kitchen washing dishes. It wasn't her fault that she had to multi-task, but management should schedule employees better.

The hotel takes pets, which is becoming rarer, which was one of the selling points for us. Overall, it's a great stop if your traveling down I-95 or I-40.

Okay, for $59 we were expecting adequate at best. What we got was BRILLIANT! Our second Sleep Inn of the trip and just as good as the first (Winchester VA) but even cheaper. So the location is not exactly central or scenic but the hotel itself was everything you could wish for. Clean, newly decorated, everything functioning as it should, plenty of free parking, exceptionally friendly staff who greet you with a smile and pleasantries, good breakfast, large rooms with comfortable beds and good quality linens, towels that go all the way around your body with some to spare (not skimpy little things that mean you have to use all of them after one shower). Couldn't find fault with this hotel. Excellent.
