Was in Fayetteville to attend a military reunion - which was hosted at this hotel. Was last here three years ago and they have upgraded the lobby and turned it into a sharpe & trendy area to check-in, use a computer, relax & talk, or just get a quick bite to eat. The rooms appear to have been upgraded also - very spacious and up-to-date. The only bad thing I could say is they need a bigger activity room to host these types of events - after about 20-25 people were in the room, it became over-crowded and the events had to spill over into the lobby area.

We drove from Orlando back to CT and couldnt bear to drive straight thru so after reading reviews, decided to stay here overnight. I am a marriottaholic. This courtyard was decent for our needs. However, I thought it was going to be right off I95 and its not. Its about a 5-10 minute ride off the highway. No big deal, but just so others are aware.
The good: its clean, the lobby is VERY nice and modern, the staff is very friendly, checkin a breeze. Excellent Starbucks coffee in the am. The room was fairly decent. There is a workout room each cardio machine had its own TV. There is a hot tub and a pool. its very close to lots of shopping and every chain restaurant you can imagine. We had a great dinner at Carrabba's.
The bad: the room had a mild "mildewy" smell. maybe the AC??, the workout room is small and it was VERY stuffy in there. Kind of a bummer when working out. These was not dealbreakers in my opinion but just so you know. Overall, a pretty decent place

The outside of the hotel is a little misleading, however once inside the lobby and food preparation areas are very modern and updated. The rooms were average but the breakfast and dinner offerings in the lobby made up for the short coming in the room. The hotel did have free high speed internet; however they did not have wifi, which would have been nice for us IPAD users. The bed was very comfortable and the air worked well. The hotel is also in a good location, next to the mall and a variety of eateries.

This was first time in Fayetteville, which I was pleasantly suprise. I enjoyed my stay in this city and really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. The atmosphere in the hotel was very modern and visually pleasing. I got one of the standard rooms, which was big and nicely decorated. The bathroom was huge and clean. I like that the sink is separate from the bathroom. The decor/color palet of the whole place was great. The Bistro made great food and so much of it! Breakfast was free. I had enough to make a lunch out of it. The staff was friendly and helpful, they really accomendated my needs. The inner court/pool area was pretty, relaxing and enjoyable. Not sure if it's new or just did a massive renovation, but I LIKE IT! It's in a good location, I felt safe where I was. First time writting a review of any hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
