“Do not stay here.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2010

Baymont is a member of the Wyndham family of hotels and when we called the 1.800 #, they wanted $115 a night. Wow. Priceline wanted $79 plus tax, so we thought we were getting a deal. Instead we got shady characters, a rundown building and a dingy suite. After reading tripadvisor we realized we were in for a real treat and immediately turned the keys in and found another place!

“Absolutely Disgusting”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2010

This place was disgusting. We booked 6 rooms "online" as we were in Fayetteville due to a family member's illness. This place is old, smells, rooms are large but old and disgusting. Bad neighborhood. Ceiling tiles were missing, wall light fell off the wall and into the sink, bed spread was well used and I'm not sure was very clean. We pulled back the sheets and looked behind the head board to make sure there were no bugs. There were dead cockroaches in the hallway and someone had been smoking pot in the elevator. The continental breakfast was a joke, no or old food, spills that no one cleaned up. Under no circumstances stay here. It's awful.

“Not worth it”

We arrived at 4am and planned to check out at noon with the late checkout we were offered. We were told to tell the front desk at 930 we wanted a late checkout. When we called, we had to argue for 45 minutes to get the late check out. They wanted to charge us $30 for the extra hour after we were promised it for free!

In addition, when we woke up to the "express check out" bill, they overcharged us by $20.

We drove cross country for a military move and just wanted to sleep before my husband had to report for duty. They half hour of arguing ruined all hope of that. When I asked for a partial refund for the night due to their magical increase in price and inconsiderate behavior, I was refunded $17 (so, still $3 more than we thought we'd be paying)...Not nearly enough to make up for the headache. Next time we're staying across the street!

“YUCK!”

The pictures of this hotel on the web site are very miss leading. The Front Lobby is the best looking area of this hotel. Our first concern was the area around the hotel, we were hauling a motorcycle on a trailer and would not have felt comfortable leaving it unattended. Next was the fact you had to use your room key to get on the elevator kinda creepy to think they have to have that much security. When we walked into the room it just looked nasty the chair had black stains on it and the carpet was dirty. My husband walked out onto the balcony and there was a cup of dip spit with cigarette butts in it. We didn't even take our luggage off the cart but hooked up the internet (was suppose to be wired but wasn't) and found another hotel pronto. We were in the room less than 15 min and were charged half the room rate plus the $10 pet fee. I can almost garuantee the room didn't get recleaned when we left. I'm not sure it was cleaned to begin with. A day later we still have over a $200 hold on our card and the person on duty can't help. We would NEVER stay at this hotel again.

“Are you kidding me?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2010

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! This hotel is a nightmare. The only positive was the receptionist was very nice and tried to be helpful! The rooms were not clean, there was mildew on the shower curtains, the elevators were dirty. The receptionist offered to switch my room, but the room that I was sent to had not been cleaned. There were questionable people in the lobby using vulgar language and even a young man that appeared to have his company for hire with him. STAY AWAY!!!!!!
