“Bad Management & UNSAFE!!”

OK, I had to find a decent motel at 4am-this overall looks pretty good...Yet management team, a discourteous Indian man & wife, often more concerned with conversing with one another or on phone in Hindi or watching tv rather than acknowledging/interacting with 'guests'. Granted I checked-in 7hrs prior to 11am, but obviously room was vacant & paying customer, so if they must charge me-charge those 7hrs-but NO-charge 4 days instead of 3!! Also, I found when checked my statement that I was charged not only additional day, BUT $60-?. Went back in person to ask & after much evasion & indifference the Indian manager admitted to the additional day charged & explained $60 charge was due to me harboring a pet/animal in room & they had strip/clean all (they take small pets at $25 fee per day/per pet)..?! So I tried to explain I had lived with multiple cats, & fur, etc.! all over my bags, clothes, etc. & that's where that had come from! BUT he'd have none of this or that I could provide evidence, & basically told me I was a liar! He wouldn't tell me the actual owner of motel & only gave me their card/phone number/address & coldly dismissed me! MOREOVER, after checkingin I struggled with all my bags having to go around to main entrance/lobby, opening two doorways, & manuever past a mostly blocked (with stacked large boxes) hallway to my room--DUE TO side doorway/EMERGENCY EXIT being locked/bolted both Inside/Outside, AND despite inquirng this door was Never Accessible/Could Not Be Use As Mapped/Stated Emergency Exit !!! Glad to get out of there, but unsatisfactory service & unsafe accomadarions! ALSO, pictures they show are misleading...not that immaculate & pool looks large, but in reality is quite small. Felt very scrutinized & uncomfortable....

Room Tip: all rooms pretty much the same

It is unfortunate when anyone has to suddenly find a place to stay after midnight. However, our policy to pay for an entire night, even though it is after midnight. It is a practiced hotel/motel policy.
We do accept pets when declared at check-in with a nightly pet fee. It was noticed during cleaning that there was an unusal amount of pet hair in the room which required extra cleaning.

We are constantly updating the hotel, yet we would never put our guest as risk while updating by blocking emergency exits.

“This was a nightmare”

The owners live there and they are very rude and cheep. Not enough towels, poor quality, and in need of repair. The ADA parking signs were out dated and it was not a positive experience. I will NEVER go there again. There is a Bordeaux Holiday Inn about a block away. I have stayed there and never been disappointed. The owners were very rude, even disrespectful.

“Decent but not outstanding”

If you're looking for a serviceable place to stay, this works, but there is nothing romantic, luxurious or "extra" about this place. It was clean, but everything was done extremely cheaply. The towels were the most threadbare, roughest towels I've ever had to use--I'm not sure what kind of nasty laundry detergent they use here! The pillows were flat and insubstantial, and there were only 3 total in the room, for a king-size bed. Oh, and the box spring of the bed still had the plastic packaging on it. Weird. The travel shampoo, soap, etc., were all from different hotel chains, Holiday Inn and Comfort to name two. The TV was perched precariously on top of an end table that was on top of the dresser--we were going to take it down, but then you couldn't see it from the high bed. The decorating was non-existent; it looked like all the room decorations had been pawned.
The noise volume was unacceptable at all hours! Obnoxious patrons were yelling in the hallway at all hours through the night, and then the maids were talking in front of our door for over an hour in the morning. By the second day, our room smelled smoky--obviously someone was smoking in a room nearby. Oh, and on the second day, the maid took our bathmat and didn't replace it. Weird, again.
The room did have some amentities---fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, and iron. Again, very serviceable but nothing above and beyond.
The breakfast was...very "continental." Bagels, packaged Danish, frozen waffles, and cereal. Nothing else! No fruit, no hard-boiled eggs. The only butter, milk and cream cheese available were in large vats for community use-- very disgusting and I can't imagine it's within health codes. We went to Bojangles across the street for breakfast the next day.
It wasn't the worst place to stay, but I was there with my partner--we're temporarily long-distance, and would have preferred something more cozy and personable. This is very bare-bones.

“Great staff, nice clean rooms, new owners made great improvements”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 March 2011

My family and i stay here once a year , my son is in the military at fort bragg. We continue to choose this hotel and we will stay here again for the third year in a row until my son gets out of the army. The pool is nice, free breakfast is convienent, rooms have always been clean. We reserve two rooms every year and have never had a problem, and we are pretty picky people. It is not a fancy place, but it has everything we need. I would assume the women who left the review to never stay there because old matresses were outside couldnt put two in two togeter, the hotel is in the process of getting new mattresses!!! Lora

“Well, Nothing Is Perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2010

First, I will like to say that this is a very nice hotel. I stayed in it 3 years ago, I just had another stay, and will stay again. This is a very nice little hotel, and it's a busy one. Both times that I stayed at this hotel it was full. So, it's popular. The staff is friendly and welcoming. If you have a problem, they are quick to resolve it. Here's an example: On this stay, the first room that I was given had ladybugs in it. I killed 3 and two more were staring at me. Well, after a nights stay in this room, I decided to ask for another room. Because they were so full, they struggled to find another room for me, but after several minutes of digging through their computer, they found me a room. This one was great. Very clean, and roomy, and by the way, all the beds had new mattresses that were very comfortable to sleep in. Once again, I had a great stay in Fayetteville Inn and Suites and would recommend it to friends and family. So, if you are staying in Fayetteville, SC. FAYETTEVILLE INN AND SUITES IS THE WAY TO GO!
