If you're looking for a serviceable place to stay, this works, but there is nothing romantic, luxurious or "extra" about this place. It was clean, but everything was done extremely cheaply. The towels were the most threadbare, roughest towels I've ever had to use--I'm not sure what kind of nasty laundry detergent they use here! The pillows were flat and insubstantial, and there were only 3 total in the room, for a king-size bed. Oh, and the box spring of the bed still had the plastic packaging on it. Weird. The travel shampoo, soap, etc., were all from different hotel chains, Holiday Inn and Comfort to name two. The TV was perched precariously on top of an end table that was on top of the dresser--we were going to take it down, but then you couldn't see it from the high bed. The decorating was non-existent; it looked like all the room decorations had been pawned.
The noise volume was unacceptable at all hours! Obnoxious patrons were yelling in the hallway at all hours through the night, and then the maids were talking in front of our door for over an hour in the morning. By the second day, our room smelled smoky--obviously someone was smoking in a room nearby. Oh, and on the second day, the maid took our bathmat and didn't replace it. Weird, again.
The room did have some amentities---fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, and iron. Again, very serviceable but nothing above and beyond.
The breakfast was...very "continental." Bagels, packaged Danish, frozen waffles, and cereal. Nothing else! No fruit, no hard-boiled eggs. The only butter, milk and cream cheese available were in large vats for community use-- very disgusting and I can't imagine it's within health codes. We went to Bojangles across the street for breakfast the next day.
It wasn't the worst place to stay, but I was there with my partner--we're temporarily long-distance, and would have preferred something more cozy and personable. This is very bare-bones.
