“Next time I'll try someplace else.”

Like many others, we stayed at this hotel overnight while traveling along I-95 because we needed someplace cheap that would accept pets. That seems to be the predominant demographic of people staying at this hotel. I-95 travelers looking for a one night stop-over, and partiers looking for a cheap place to party.

Check-in was easy enough, no trouble there, but the room was pretty run down, smelly, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. Like many hotels that accept pets, this one smelled musty. The toilet clogged the first time we used it.

In addition. There was garbage, beer cans and other debris in the parking lot. People coming and going (noisily) at all hours of the night.

I imagine that most of the cheap hotels along I-95 are like this, since it's a heavily traveled interstate and most people are just looking for a place to crash for a few hours of sleep before continuing on their way. It's a typical interstate exit "settlement" w/ a bunch of hotels, gas stations, and fast food joints nearby. In fact, this motel is hidden behind a gas station.

You get what you pay for to some extent, but next time I'll try someplace else.

RATING SCALE: My ratings are generally based on value vs money. Thus, sometimes a simple hotel will receive a 4 or 5, while a fancy hotel can rank a 1 or 2 if I don't feel it was worth the cost.

Also, a hotel can do everything right and still only rank as a 4, unless there's something really exceptional about it.

5 = Hotel gets everything right, and goes above and beyond.
4 = Hotel gets everything right.
3 = Hotel is acceptable value for money spent.
2 = Hotel isn't worth the money spent.
1 = Hotel should pay ME to stay there.

“Leave your valuables at home!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2011

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I stayed here on business. A throw pillow was taken from a coworkers room. A couple of days later I asked to have my sheets changed. That night I noticed that my pillow was missing. I went to the manager to let them know and she said she would call me and let me know what she found out. I stayed there for over a week after this incident and I never heard anything back. I called corporate and still have not heard back.

When check out time came we asked what time check out was. We were told 12 noon. We told the office that we were going to get a cooler and be back to get the things from the fridge. We came back almost 2 hours before check out time and all of our things had been thrown out from the fridge/freezer.

Flys were also a constant issue.

“For the price. Can't be beat. very good deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2011

Clean rooms, nice staff. comfortable. Alot of Hot water. excellent. The only bad thing is its location if you are comeing out of Fayetteville. The main road going to North I-95 takes you to far North. The main one going to South I-95 takes you to far South. But for the price and comfort, well worth the effort to get there..

“Only worth staying if you're traveling on I-95 and need a pet friendly overnight stop”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2010

The room was really worn and tired, and I've certainly seen better Motel 6's. However, for $41/night, if you just need a pet friendly room for an overnight stop when traveling along I-95 it's okay. The motel was conveniently located off of the interstate. I don't think I could have tolerated the room for more than the half day we were there though.

“Flea-infested hotel room - DISGUSTING!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2010

We (myself, my husband, my 19 month old, and our dog) stayed in room 114 and upon entering the room for the first time, it reeked of body odor and mold, and the carpet was very moist. When we crawled into the bed, our legs immediately began to itch. I dismissed it as being exhausted from driving 8 hours and arriving at the hotel at 3am, and my husband and I soon fell asleep. Once we checked out the next day and were on the road again to our vacation destination in South Carolina, I looked over at our dog in the car seat next to me, and fleas were jumping all over her. OMG, talk about disgusting. I quickly put two and two together and realized why we had been itching the night before. We had to stop at a Petco before we reached our vacation destination to purchase flea repellent products that cost us over $100. I pray that we don’t end up bringing the fleas home with us as we will then have another nightmare on our hands. Please, please do not waste your money or time here as if you do, you will be sharing your bed with a ton of fleas, and those insects are extremely difficult to rid yourself of.
