Let me start by saying this was the worst place I've ever seen in my entire life. My husband and I came there for a church conference with our infant baby. I was very excited about this trip and we spent lots of time preparing. When we got there, it was almost 11 pm and I was very tired and hungry. I sat in the car while my husband checked in. We got the keys and went around to out room which first of all far away. When we opened the door, I we were overwhelmed by a nasty, funky smell of smoke, marijuana and...crack??? OMG!!! I literally held my breath as we walked down the corrider and coupled my infant's nose. The room was awful!!!! The lighting was dim and it smelled just like the hallway. The furniture had stains and floors were NASTY! There were bugs on the floor in the kitchen and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in centuries. As soon as I walked in, I could have literally walked back out AND there was no way I was putting my baby down in that room. My husband is usually more understanding than I but even he had a sour look upon his face. They didn't even have baby beds...ALL hotels have baby beds...playpins, or something. This was appalling. A downright shame. I wouldn't stay there for free. We went into the bedroom and bed had stains all over it. I was afraid to sit down, seriously. The phone rang and it was the lady from the front desk checking to see if we found our room. I said "...yes...but it smells really bad...." Her reply? "YOU can come to the front desk to get some spray." WHAT?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?!? Are you SERIOUS??? My husband and I went online and booked the RADISSON through orbitz just a few miles down the street which was EXCELLENT! While my husbad loaded the car, I went to the front desk to check out. I told her that we decided not to stay and then she offers to put us in a different room. "No, that's ok," I said kindly as I eyeballed the can of smoke eliminator on the desk. This place was SUPER GHETTO! I've never seen anything like it. As we were leaving, I let out a deep sigh as I saw a group of crackheads roaming around. This place gave me the creeps. It was like something out of a horror flick.
