My husband and I traveled to Durham for a Duke Basketball game and we stayed at your property because of its convenient location to the campus. From the time we entered the hotel, until we departed, we were extremely pleased with this property. The staff was very cordial and helpful when we asked for directions to various locations. The morning breakfast "treats" were constantly replaced to insure that all of the guests were assured of having a full choice of beverages and food items. As a Gold Returns member, I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends. Kudos to the Manager of this property!!

We stay at LaQuinta for the wonderful beds and the fact most are pet-friendly. We really enjoy staying at the La Quinta on 15- 501. It is extremely clean, wonderful beds, quiet rooms, with small fridge and microwaves in most rooms. The indoor pool is well maintained and the courtyard is beautiful! The best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff that works there. Everyone is very polite and you have the impression that they all really like their jobs and are proud to work there. The top of the list is Christie, who works the front desk. Having worked with the public for over 15 years, I can say she is one of the best assets that this hotel has! She is truly a rare gem and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a happy one. She truly makes your stay not just pleasant, but wonderful!

Stayed here recently on a stopover to visit friends in the area on our way north. We're a complicated road tripper profile: a two year old, a 7 month old, a disabled husband and a dog. The accessible room was perfectly comfortable. Rooms were clean, no smells--smoky or otherwise--in the room or anywhere in the hallways that we experienced. Lobby is comfortable, has a nice fountain in the middle, well kept. Charming courtyard with gazebo outside of the indoor pool. Our 40 lb. dog was welcome with no additional charge. King size bed with small sofa that pulled out to a twin bed (perfect for the two year old). Even with all of that, still enough room to set up a pack and play for the 7 month old. HDTV, microwave, fridge. Breakfast buffet had the usual selection...waffles, muffins and pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Location smack between UNC and Duke, convenient to I-40, I-85, and 15-501. Red Lobster directly next door, dozens of eating options within a mile or two. Bowling alley two doors down. Great stay and an EXCELLENT value for the price.
