One of my previous reviews is on this same hotel. I travel on business to this area several times per year and stay at the Comfort Inn, Dunn, NC; this trip was a disappointment. The hotel is showing its age. Don't stay in room 107. it has a king bed, but the room size would be better suited to a twin or double at best. It is next to the elevator and a storage room which made for a noisy evening. Each evening the noise continued until 11pm or after. At breakfast, there were small black specks floating in the OJ, and the owner would not allow me to use my Choice Privileges card since I had forgotten to present it when I checked in! Very disappointing!

OK hotel, bit getting a bit run down. Breakfast did not offer much selection and was rather strange. Eggs and sausage patties were precooked and frozen in a serving dish. Guest were supposed to defrost them on foam plates - which is not a healthy thing to do. We won't stay here again. Avoid this one.

Do NOT stay at this hotel! We arrived at this hotel and the electricity was out in the entire hotel. My husband went in to the front desk and was told that they would reimburse us for the room as we DID NOT check-in or stay at the hotel. The charges were never reimbursed. We have spent countless hours on the phone with the manager, Mike, who now refuses to reimburse us. He is very rude!!! We are now trying to resolve the issue with Comfort Inn's customer service department. We travel A LOT and have never had a problem like this. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!

We chose this hotel because of good reviews -- but they must have been written by hotel staff. We checked out within an hour of checking in. We looked at several rooms, but they all had the same problems -- the window latches were broken making it impossible to close the window all the way to keep out the wind and rain. There was mold in the bathrooms. The entire place was dark and dreary. We had asked in our reservation for 2 rooms near each other in a quiet location. There weren't many guests that night, but the desk clerk spent way too long trying to find nearby rooms and then offered us a room right next to the elevator! He tried hard to accommodate us but didn't seem very competent. We ended up spending the night in Rocky Mount -- a much better location.
