I travel from out of town for one and two nights a week, every week. The rate is lower than the Econo Lodge across the street, the rooms are immaculately cleaned, all of the hosts are very hospitable, and the breakfast is good (waffles, frech toast, pastries, coffee, juices, cold cereals, etc), one of the hostesses made my breakfast for me as I checked into my room!

Yes, the building is older, but the rooms are quite accomodating with a coffee maker, an iron and an ironing board, a microwave oven, a mini fridge, hair dryer, and a large TV. Being a regular traveler to this area, I have shopped around and discovered the best deal for me.

Nice breakfast area. Thats where it ends. Digusting rooms and nasty personnel at this fleebag no-tell motel. Not worth 10$ let alone what they charge. Had to stay here for 8 weeks on business. Would never stay here by choice and would not let my job put me here EVER again. A person could get shot/robbed/drugged being here. Check news stories for the area for yourself.

First the pluses, I got a great room rate with a discount for paying for my stay in advance. The room was recently remodeled and the hotel has a pretty good wireless internet connection. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave as well a coffee maker, and iron.

The biggest downside was that even though it has a new sign and the motel has a new facade, it is an older building with dark rooms that were slightly on the small side. Since there is absolutely nothing to do after dark in that area I was stuck having to go outside to pace around a bit, but the rooms, beddings, and bathrooms were immaculately clean.

The other notable downside is that a rail siding runs just past the hotel and yes, there is a pre-dawn train that cuts through the area. But since all of the hotels/motels in town are similarly affected there is no escape for light sleepers. It was cool when I was there so the AC was off, but I just turned on the fan for some white noise and I slept undisturbed after the first night.

Good price, convenient location, internet connection, and a comfortable bed... these are what I look for in a motel when I travel and that is what I received.
