The Comfort Inn & Suites gets outstanding marks for its cleanliness. It is not too fancy, but we like that there is a refrigerator in the room. We have stayed three times at the hotel. We've really not had any bad experiences, and the hotel is always clean. We also like that it is quieter than some of the other area hotels we've stayed at. It is far enough away from I-77 that you do not get the Interstate noise.

If I had to make a complaint (and I don't want to), I'd work on the coffee -- pretty bitter -- and take the breakfast up a notch. But the hotel is quiet and clean.

We stay in this area a lot (we have a student at Davidson College), and the Cornelius location is the best. Very close to Davidson, and the area is very nice with Starbucks, Sushi on the Lake, Waffle House, etc. not even a stone's throw away.

This is our second visit to the Charlotte NC area and to this hotel. Both times we've felt very comfortable and happy with the accommodations at this hotel. Would definitely recommend it.

Our most recent stay was our third visit in a year at this hotel. We like it mainly because of the location--just off the interstate, in walking distance to a variety of restaurants and situated adjacent to a nicely landscaped office park. A caveat to consider is the possibility of a band playing in early evening at a nearby restaurant. To avoid, book a room in the south wing. We were on the north wing on our first stay and actually enjoyed the music. (I guess it depends on your mood and what time you want to "call it a day.") The $25 pet fee is a bit steep and may be a deterrent to some; however, the area is conducive to dog walking--safe and pleasant--a rare find in our experience. Overall, the price is higher than comparable Comfort Inns along our route, attributable more to the high bed/tourist taxes in No. Carolina than the basic room rate.
