I am attending a 4 day dog trial in Concord. I usually travel with my motorhome but because there was 4 humans and 4 dogs, I decided to find a place that would accomodate dogs with a refrigerator. When I called for the reservation, my requests were handled with in a very professional manner. When we arrived I was quite surprised at the nice reception. The rooms are very nice. Bedding clean, room clean, kitchen clean. The walls could use a quick paint job, but no reason not the stay here. I would recommend this place to anybody coming to this area...and I would definately stay here again. You can't hear your neighbors. The place is full of dogs currently due to the trial and it's still very quiet. As a side note, I did travel with a few cleaing product, laundry detergent and extra towels so I had the convience of my own things. But towels are not a problem to get if you needed them.

Was traveling to the city for a sporting event and got an exceptional promotional rate. The manager were able to sweeten the deal once I mentioned there'll guests from my country's team staying as well.
Basic kitchen, clean rooms and bathroom, outdoor pool, and linen. Only room service once a week but you really don't need it unless you're a high maintainance traveler (but you really should stay at the Hyatt).

Chose this hotel primarily because of the kitchen facility and proximity to Lowe's Speedway, and the hotel worked fine for those needs.

It is a no frills establishment, which is understandable given the price and are generally not things that I take advantage of anyway- like continental breakfasts. I was very disappointed to discover that the hotel has a mix of smoking and non-smoking rooms, however, they are intermixed with each other on the same hallway. There was a stench in the hallways and we put a wet towel under the door to keep the smoke from coming into the room.

Also be prepared for hearing your neighbors, whether they are in the hallways or above you. It was easy to tell where the people in the room above were because you could hear the footsteps above. There were some guests there during our stay who were particularly loud, however we did not ask management to move us and can not comment on what they would have done had they known.

I was also surprised to find that the hotel did not have wireless internet nor provided a connector in the room- bring your own ethernet cable if you don't want to sit in the hall to get online as the hotel staff told us that we would need to buy one if we wanted to connect.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days while in town doing the race shop and Lowes Motor speedway track tours. It was a clean place with a pool (which we had no need for since we had other plans that kept us quite busy) and our room even had a kitchenette (which, again, no real need for) but the hotel is definitely no frills. For about the $80/night cost, it was a good stay and worth the price. As for location, it is centered in a bustling area where there are restaurants and just down the street from the local mall; not to mention that Lowes Motor Speedway (and Hendricks Motorsports race shop) are within 5-7 minutes drive from the hotel. Very convenient location, for sure.
