My husband & I stayed here as it was chosen for wedding guests & paid the "advanced room"/ discounted rate. We had a king bed and room was still quite large even with a desk and rolling chair, upholstered smaller chair & ottoman. Had micwv, fridge, iron/board, coffee maker, hair dryer. A reviewer mentioned no room for toiletries in bathroom. Not so. See hotel pics; the left side of the sink has almost twice the counter room than what's shown on right side. Bathroom had no nasty missing caulk around tub or floor which can often be the case. However, towels were scratchy. Some pillows were lumpy. We had forgotten toothpaste and housekeeper brought it to our room. Did not utilize workout room, pool or breakfast as we slept late. Pool area small and just enough room for chairs. Hotel clerk could have been more helpful in some ways. Not used to looking for bedbugs so can't speak to that from another reviewer. Business center with 2 computers is its own room-nice & private; need room key to use. This is a smaller hotel - 93 rooms - so not a lot of people going in & out or long elevator waits. Only 4 floors. There are about 6 hotels next to each other so if I returned to Concord, I might try something different just because but could depend on price. If I wanted a romantic getaway this wouldn't be it as it's not a fancy hotel but it was fine for wedding. It gets a yes vote from me on room size, microwv & fridges -all a big plus!

My sister and I had reservations for June 11, 2011. We arrived at 3:00am and as customary checked the beds. I pulled back the sheets and checked near the base of the bed and there was a big bedbug. Went downstairs told the manager she pretended to be shocked. She gave us another room and we checked the beds again. My sister pulled back the sheets and there were several bedbugs crawling. We immediately left the hotel. But before we did the clerk had the audacity to ask me if my other family members would be checking in. I should have slapped the woman but I told her absolutely not..We checked into the beautiful and uberclean Reseidence Inn.

Stayed here for 3 nights to attend the Nascar races. The hotel is only 2 and half miles from the track, and very easy to get to, but long traffic lines on the return of course. The hotel had an adequate complimentary breakfast, as well as a small pool with some tables, and it's located close to lots of restaurants. The rooms were the best feauture, with a very large living room area, good bedding, and some efficiency details like a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was large, but had no place for storage of any toiletries of shelving. So if the hotel added some features to their bathroom, and breakfast options, I would have been 100% happy with it. But because of these 2 minor features, I rate it a 4 out fo a 5 for what it is. This is by no means a luxury property, but for being a moderate priced hotel chain, it was a strong 4 out of 5. There are a number of hotels all located in the same hotel complex, so if I were to go again, I would probably choose to stay here because of the size of the room.

I have no major complaints, but at this price I expected a little more. Made reservations online and when I called a day ahead to confirm, the staff person sounded bored/disinterested. We arrived a little before check-in time and despite the fact that the parking lot was empty, we were told our room was not ready yet. We noticed several knobs on our dresser were missing. Nice to have some hot food options for breakfast (eggs, sausage, etc.) but the hash browns were hard as rocks. Location off of I-85 between Concord Mills and the Speedway is good, but traffic in that area gets backed up a lot on weekends.
