I recently stayed here during a business trip and it was such a pleasure to come "home" to the B&B every night. Patty and Mason were so wonderful truly made the place feel speicial...like a mini-vacaction. The rooms arre quaint, comfortable, and spotless. I looked forward to a delicious breakfast every morning and was never disappointed. This is the only place anyone should stay in Clinton!

We always check trip advisor before we book a place to stay and with the reviews being so WONDERFUL, we knew this was the place to rest our heads after stomping grapes all day at Duplin Winery for the 35th Annual Grape Stomp. Well that is exactly what we did....Got a WONDERFUL place to rest our heads. The Inn keepers cater to you needs and serve a great breakfast in the morning, the rooms are beautifully decorated and comfy, and the grounds are pretty. You can even sit with a glass of wine on the patio or front porch! Very relaxing......will be back again....even thinking about coming Halloween weekend for the Murder Mystery at the Duplin Winery and we definitely know where we will be staying! :-)

Friendly, interesting, and accommodating inkeepers who serve you a delicious breakfast and are happy to provide you a cocktail after a long day. Whether on vacation or at work, this B&B is the perfect setting. Rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, and very reasonably priced. Convenient location to downtown Clinton and restaurants. Nowhere better to stay in Clinton. Also an elegant location for large group gatherings, as I noted during December when I was there. Gorgeously maintained historic home that is ideal for holiday (or any day) parties.

The Ashford Inn is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay in this area. The house and yard is beautiful. Adequate parking. Very quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed talking with Mason, who recommended a great place for dinner. Wish I could have stayed longer and hope to get a chance to return in the fall when it is not quite as hot outside. By the way, the A/C in the house is great. Thanks to Mason and Patty for a great deal!
