I spent two days at the Days Inn in Clinton, NC and let me advise you: Unless you desparately need a hotel to stay at for the night...stay elsewhere. If you do stay there, do NOT stay on the back side. #1, the place has bed bug and my legs have the bite marks to show it #2) Housekeeping uses some kind of industrial strength cleaner that burns your sinus when you come into the room and #3) I got a knock on my door at 2 a.m, asking if I wanted "company for the night"...unbelievable right? but true. DO NOT bring your family to this hotel. 4#) Their "continental breakfast" consisted of either Cheerios or Mini Bagels with ancient cream cheese. Now for the good part: The pillows where great and the morning manager was nice.

Older hotel, rug had alot of dust bunnies under the air conditioner unit, and the grill on the unit had rust on it. The tub was textured and looked a bit dirty. The King size bed was very very comfortable! It was also a very quiet hotel and very friendly staff!

I stayed here one night for a business trip. Let me start with the positives and say the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel was in the best location. I did not feel comfortable outside the room after dark and the hotel is located next to Smithfield processing plant. The smell from the plant next door was not pleasant and I could hear trucks and forklifts operating all night. I would recommend staying at one of the hotels near Sampson Community College because the area had more to offer and seemed a little safer.
