me and my girlfriend came to cherokee NC for the weekend for a concert at Harrah's Cherokee Hotel & Casino.. we stayed here at the days inn.. well, its right across the street from the casino. didn't have to fool with parking or worry about getting a DUI if we left the casino a little tipsy. lol . the hotel was pleasant. we got a smokers room... can't believe they still exist.. got a room with a king size bed. cost us about 100 dollars.. we probably could've found somewhere a lil bit cheaper in town.. but again, convenience is key here. the casino was rock throwing distance from the room, and a gas station next door from us . the room was cozy and quiet. had showtime on tv. free WI-FI. there is a pool, but no water cause it's not in season yet. my only gripe is that the pillows were quite firm and hard. i woke the next morning with a crick in my neck. . but other than that, the stay was fine. highly recommended, expecially if you are there to visit the casino. A-

I stayed at this motel due to the fact that my traveling companions both smoked and I cannot handle cigarette smoke. I could open the windows in this motel. I noticed the housekeeping service did not remove some food between the bed and nightstand. Lo and behold, there was also a bug. I called the office and reported the problem. They never rectified the situation in the 3 days I was there.

I am not sure I will stay at this motel again. If I do, I will inspect the room before placing my luggage in it and having it recleaned if necessary.

I will say, the staff members were very nice. Although I paid my way through college with tips as a waitress and usually tip quite well, since the housekeeping staff did not clean the room properly, they did not receive but one day's tip.

If you stay there, please inspect the room prior to becoming comfortable.

the breakfust is a little bit cheep.
they are no room to eat to small tables
they could charge a little more and have more to eat.
they was one pack of oat meal and 3 apples two donuts
and 2 boxs of oaks. at 9.30 am sun morning they was some ladys in the office and never tryied to put more out. are even come over to look.
i was ask to give the key to a worker as i came out of my room to check out.
i told her i needed to go to office and she told me she would take it to office
this was at 10.00 am sun i felt as i was beening rush out. i stated there oct-23-24-09

Stayed one night on a long weekend, price was good,rooms a bit musty, pipes made noises in the night. Breakfast very basic. But for one night it was okay.
