i must admit i always read trip advisor before making reservations. i was kinda worried since this hotel is lower on the list than i like. i checked into this hotel during a slow time of year. the girl at the front desk was friendly and efficient at her job. this hotel doesnt have an elevator but im not so lazy that i cant manage a whole flight of stairs (its a 2 story hotel)! arrived to my room to find it clean and kept. the housekeeping was friendly and in and out of my room in a timely fashion. breakfast was the usual hampton fare but let me give you a heads up...its not the usual buffet type service. not because the hotel is cheap or plotting against you!! brace yourself folks...its a health dept state regulation...your breakfast prepared foods have to be heated up by the consumer (thats you)!! if you feel thats beneath you u can fix yourself a fresh waffle but like all food that has to cook, you will have to wait a few minutes!! coffee is out all day including the high octane robust that keeps me going.. and cookies are always a plus in my world!! two thumbs up to the staff.

The hotel has a great staff, service is very good for a Hampton inn. The breakfast is ok but not worth the wait sleep in eat local. The hotel is out dated need some tlc no elevator for upper floors so if you have bad knees stay on the first floor.

Great location, great staff and a great comfortable room. My wife and I will be back during the holiiday season.
