It is hard to sit in a meeting all day without wireless. I had to go outside constantly to get any service. And this is suppose to be a business hotel!

My husband and I stayed at this location twice. I had an audition in the Charlotte area and was looking for a good hotel near the interstate. This Hilton served us well on both occasions. It's what you expect from a Hilton chain; comfortable beds, large room size, nice staff. The only thing that was not "excellent" was on our second stay at this hotel the a/c was broken and very loud. We were only staying one night (and it was very late, after 12am) so we chose not to change rooms or anything. Overall, I would stay here again if I needed to be near this area. Location is about a 10 minute drive to the airport and 15 min. to downtown, so it is pretty quiet.

we arrived at 11am to be greeted by the bellperson at the front door. he directed my family to the front desk where i meet by a desk clerk by the name amanda. What a treasure!. She welcomed me by by name at least 3 times. The bellperson took us to our room on the 7th floor. He took care of us explained all there was to do in charlotte and inside the hotel. He even got us ice. Then we meet the Concierge. He arranged for us a tour and also directed us to city park for our kids and suggested a picnic too, he also invited us back that night for a snack. overall our vacatiob was nice, but the Hilton was perfect...thank you

Long drive from upstate New York put us in around 11pm. Desk clerk was very busy flirting with airline employee. Guess he did not think I was much in my comfortable driving clothes. Room was acceptable but key light at closet was out and desk clerk was rude when I asked that it be fixed. Engineering never showed, found out later no help after 11pm, but no call from desk to tell me that. Elevator in disrepair, trapping my wife and no answer from service phone. No coffee in lobby.

Long time hilton traveller with 1/2 million points so I am very familiar with the chain. This location is not worthy of the hilton name.
