This hotel is in the epicenter of Charlotte,NC. This hotel is also DUMP!. All I can say is ill, yuck, and disgusting. Please do not waste your $. The plumbing horrible. While taking a shower, I looked up and saw dead spiders and somebody's hair stuck to the ceiling. Needless to say we cut our trip short. Do yourself a favor sleep in your car!!!!

Upon my arrival to the hotel, I was absolutely horrified; although the location was in the middle of a thriving area, the hotel needed a desperate makeover; the outside of the building was run down and the parking lot was littered with suspicious activities; police sirens could be heard through the thin walls of the hotel as night time approached. The hotel is also adjacent to an empty parking lot cluttered with debri; I truly was uncomfortable having my guest stay at this hotel; in addition, the inside of the hotel was just as bad as the outside; the carpet was dirty, the walls were badly patched and the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and broken; the bathroom was filthy, as the wallpaper was peeling and buckling from the wall; the toilet was stained with urine and other bodily fluids; this hotel was a complete disgrace and should be torn down. If you value yourself, friends, and others do not waste your money, time or peace of mind staying at the Days Inn in Uptown Charlotte.

My family stayed here so we could be downtown, and still not spend too much. We rented two rooms. The air had been off before we arrived so the rooms were pretty hot. The AC in the children's room worked well, but not in our room. In both rooms the AC sounded like a jet engine. The location is downtown, so it close to everything - including beggars. We found Charlotte to be a friendly city.

Oh, my..where do I start... As soon as we pulled in the parking lot, we were approached by a scary man begging for cigarettes and money. He was looking to see what he could steal from my car as I was trying to get my things out and hide the other stuff from view. That was at 6pm in the rain. When we came back from dinner, we couldn't even get out of the car.. he was back and walked right up to my car window!!! I had to call the front desk to tell them to get security so I could get in my room! If I wasn't staying there with a friend and about 10 guys to protect me, I NEVER would have stayed here! (My friend was working for a band in the city..the crew and band were staying here.) I also saw a man looking in the rooms and banging on the doors to beg for money and such. My friends said they saw him looking to break into the cars in the lot.
