I read the reviews on this place, but wanted to try for myself. We were in Charlotte for a Cheerleading Competition. When we checked in we noticed how clean the place was and how friendly the front desk clerk was. They are currently remodeling and we were given a room that had been remodled. The room was very nice, it was pretty spacious, would like to have queen beds instead of Doubles but they worked for us. The pool area while not very big, was kept up real well. The Hotel is in a business park area, but it's not hard to find, it's within a half mile of the Freeway.
There are a few of things that were not the best, don't get me wrong they were not horrible but they were not that great either. One is the breakfast, while it was a part of the Hotel rate it could be better. The breads were hard because they were not in an airtight container, the eggs were microwave eggs that were semi scrambled disks and the sausage did not seem fully cooked. The second thing is, the breakfast area was small, we were fine because there were not a lot of people staying there when we were there, but if the hotel would have been half full, we would have had a hard time fitting. The last thing is, the TV in the room is sort of set off almost halfway between the second bed and the sleeper sofa, while it's not a major deal, it was very akward for everyone to see the TV.
Overall we had a really good experience here and would stay again when in Charlotte.
