I stayed in this hotel last weekend, January 7th-9th. I moved from my condo, put my furniture in storage and needed an affordable and safe place for two nights. Lashell greated me warmly and very professionally. I was a wreck after moving all day and her kindness made it all go away. The room was spacious, tv outdated but workable, and the business center was awesome! The breakfast was good with biscuits I will not forget. My last night I decided to make use of the kitchen by cooking. I had made several trips to my car and was stilll quite exhausted from the move. No worries, once again Lashell offered me the seasonings I needed to borrow and more without returning to my car. If you need affordable, safe, nearby places to eat and easy freeway access this is it! I felt right at home.

This hotel is wonderful! They thought of everything--literally! From the moment I arrived they made me feel like a guest. They added so many nice touches, it was better than being at home! They had everything--from Microwave popcorn in the room, to Security at night that left me a nice note on my car, not to leave my GPS out! Wow! Stay here!

I thought this three-star booking exceeded expectation. The rooms are large and comfortable. The TV was not HDTV but we didn't hold that against them. The room was exceptionally clean. We found the staff friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was better than I've had at many hotels that offer just a continental breakfast. Our room had a nice view of the center courtyard overlooking the pool. It was a very good value.
The complimentary cookies were a nice touch.

I am traveling to Charlotte several days a week for business and typically stay at the Staybridge in Ballantyne, which is fantastic. When it was booked on a particiular week, I went to the Arrowood location. My experience was terrible. I stayed three nights and there was no housekeeping. I had to call the front desk to ask for clean towells, coffee and garbage bags. I was told to l leave my trash outside the door - twice I did this, and both times it was still there when I left in the morning (including my daughter's dirty diapers). One of the coffee mugs in my room had been glued back together. The hair dryer would overheat and shut off after about 30 seconds. The TV was OLD. The Ballantyne has upgraded to flat screens. The people working the front desk in the evening were less than accomodating. Arrowood is slightly less expensive than Ballantyne, but clearly you get what you pay for.
