We used Starwood points to get a room here for two nights. We started out on the seventh floor, but as we were entering the room, it became apparent that our neighbors were a bit rowdy. We had no problem getting the hotel to move us to a different room on the fifth floor - one which was very quiet our entire stay. Staff at the entrance and in the lobby were friendly and helpful.
The decor of the room we ended up in was unremarkable; I think maybe we expected a bit more for the money/points. We had a balcony large enough to sit on (with two chairs and a small table), but it overlooked the front parking lot and lots of traffic. Might be worth asking if they have the same type of room overlooking the golf course in the back. Our room had a king size bed, a comfortable armchair, a desk, and flat screen TV. I didn't like it that no in-room coffee maker was available, but that seems to be pretty typical of high-end hotels. Our bathroom was exceptional, with marble floors, a large tub, separate shower, monogrammed towels and bathrobes, and Remede amenities. My wife complained about the length of time it took to get hot water in the room - several minutes.
We generally liked the hotel, but might have been a bit less happy if we had paid full price. I wouldn't be surprised if we came back here, but we also might try someplace different just to see what's out there.
