Had a reservation here, but showed up and their internet was not available. I am not sure if that reflects on the hotel or the internet service provider though. The staff were very helpful in changing my reservations to another place.

The room was very clean and had all necessary items however, the drug addict that proceeded to bother us everytime we walked out of our room ruined it for us. We were actually a little worried to even come back to the room to sleep that night because of him. Independence Blvd is pretty suspect, next time we will pay the extra money and stay downtown.

I've stayed at this property over the decades thru many name changes. It is as good as it gets in this area of town. All rooms have a fridge and microwave.
Rooms are reasonably clean - and most have recent upgrades of furniture and carpeting. The bathrooms could use a major redo - but that may come soon.
Continental breakfast is perfectly adequate in a nice big clean room behind the front desk.
The staff is super friendly - a big plus - and will take care of your needs.
Wireless internet can be iffy in some rooms. If you require access - ask at the desk - - they know where the better rooms are.
If you can stay without maid service for a week - - - Their weekly rates are super.
Lupie's Cafe is close by for a bite for lunch or dinner.

I stayed here on a work related trip on 9/02/2009. The sign out front still said something like Mart Inns & suites, but I was told they have changed over to Econo Lodge and that they were due to change the sign soon.
This property was much better and safer looking than several others that I had passed up that night while looking for a place to stay. I will definately stay here again when in that area overnight..
The front desk clerk was very freindly and helpful with getting me a room where that I could park my mini van and 12 foot trailer near the room. This was a very nice room with good towels and bedding. Room had a ironing board with iron, in room coffee pot, a work desk .eating table , a large tv. and a good sleeping bed and it was clean. This motel also had free wifi internet with a good signal all the way to the far end of the property where my room was located. They had a uniformed armed security guard on duty who was constantly walking around the property and kept a close eye on things and was a really nice person to speak with as he was making his rounds passed my room as I was taking in the luggage.
They did offer free breakfast with waffles and had a nice clean area to eat in.
Check in and check out was a breeze. I had stayed at two other Econo Lodges that week in different towns and this one was by far the best.
I don't think that I have ever rated a motel this good on here before, but there was nothing to complain about here. No its was not the ritz. but it was clean, safe.and much better than expected for under 60 bucks.
