I was at the Inn Town Suites in Matthews, NC. The room I had was absolutely disgusting - stained furniture, room was not clean and there were stains and cigarette burns all over the sheets and bedpread. The worst was the roaches. The smell of pesticide was evident when I checked in, but apparently that wasn't enough. I complained that I wanted my money back and they convinced me that they would come spray the room and everything would be ok. They also let me look at three other rooms that were even worse than the one I was in - one reeked of BO so badly I thought I'd be sick. Gave my original room one last chance and that evening had twice as many roaches in my room. Immediately checked out the next day, asking for my money back. I was assured that I would get a full refund - which I have never received. Several calls to the customer complaint center and never received so much as a phone call in return. I will be contacting the board of health and the BBB on this place. This place is a rip-off and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody no matter how cheap it is.

What can I say other than Inntown Suits really sucks. We stayed at the N. Tryon location in Charlotte. Dirty Bedding, overflowing toilet, roaches, water leaking from bathroom ceiling, broken a/c, no bathroom towels. Oh yeah, they do have a maintenance guy .. but he will never make it to your room to fix anything. Complaints mean nothing to this place. They are very quick to take your money though. 15 minutes past check out and I was even charged an extra $25 dollars for "late check out". What was also amazing is how the maid cleaning up would come to my room and see that I've cleaned it up and will ask me to tell the office that I waived her coming in and doing her job. DONT EVER VISIT THIS PLACE YOU'D BE BETTER OFF FINDING A BOX AND SLEEPING OUTSIDE NEXT TO SOME DUMPSTER.

Real sorry to have ever encountered such a laim bunch of people. For one people knocked on my door at ALL hours of the night looking for someone that had previously lived there. For two...due to a personal emergency I had to leave suddenly. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to pack all of my belongings. My husband offered to pay WHATEVER the cost to ship them and according to the manager their "Corporate policy" doesn't allow for this so needless to say I've got to spend 200$ more to travel back to the hotel to collect my belongings. Now under different circumstances I would've never left anything...but in this case I had no choice. So People listen up ....AVOID intowne suites!!!!!!!
